Customers may browse and purchase products as guests; account creation is not required. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during checkout.

Any online membership available through the Website is designed for your use and enjoyment. As a member, you may receive certain specialized content, as well as special offers from Hooked on Soap LLC. Hooked on Soap LLC reserves the right to terminate your membership if any individual, other than you, attempts to access the Website using your user name or password or if you (or anyone using your user name and password) otherwise breach these Terms of Use. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for restricting access to your computer so others may not access the Website in violation of these Terms of Use. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the e-mail address you initially provide is deliverable and, should your e-mail address change, it is your sole responsibility to return to the Website and update your e-mail address. Should your e-mail address become undeliverable, your membership may be suspended until such time as you provide a currently deliverable e-mail address. In such cases, no retroactive benefits will be provided for the period your membership was in a suspended state. If you wish at any time to cancel your membership, please do so by sending a request to hookedonsoap@gmail.com. Hooked on Soap LLC may send you an email confirming your removal from Membership. No other methods of removal are approved or authorized.

You also agree not to interfere, disrupt, or attempt to interfere or disrupt the operation of the Website or of the networks connected to the Website, and to abide by all security policies adopted by Hooked on Soap LLC. For security purposes, you acknowledge and agree that Hooked on Soap LLC may monitor your account and your access to and use of the Website. 

 

3. Comments, Feedback, and Submissions

Please note: Hooked on Soap LLC does not accept ideas, suggestions, or other submissions, whether pertaining to any content, the Website, any products or services of Hooked on Soap LLC or any of its affiliated entities, or any other matter, under any obligations of any kind, either expressed or implied. Accordingly, please do not submit to us any ideas, suggestions, or other submissions that you wish to keep confidential or for which you expect to receive compensation.

 

4. Products and Pricing

 

You may not publicly market, advertise, or resell any Hooked on Soap LLC products on internet marketplaces, including without limitation, Facebook, Ebay, Amazon, or any other online channels. You may not resell Hooked on Soap LLC products in any public in-person channels. Further, you will not alter, adjust, or use any Hooked on Soap LLC products, including altering or adjusting the packaging for such products, for resale or distribution.

The form and nature of the services, content and all information posted on the Website is subject to change without notice.

All products and prices listed on our website are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure accuracy, but errors may occur. In the event of a pricing or product description error, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order placed at an incorrect price.

 

Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Colors and appearances may vary slightly due to monitor settings or natural product variations.

Build-A-Soap

​

By participating in the Build-A-Soap customization experience offered by Hooked on Soap LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions and you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to participate. Please read carefully before placing your order.

 

A. Customization Process

 

Customers may select soap base oils, colorants, fragrances, additives, and design elements from the options provided.

​

Breast milk or any other bodily fluids will not be accepted or used as additives under any circumstances.

​

Customers do not get to choose the brand of ingredients, the amount, or where the ingredients are purchased from.

​

Advertised ingredient options represent the maximum available selections. Pricing remains the same regardless of how many ingredients are chosen. If fewer ingredients are selected, the original listed price still applies.

​

Due to inherent variations in how soap batter may react to selected ingredients, the final design and arrangement of colors shall be at the sole discretion of Hooked on Soap LLC.

​

Scent strength is determined by the maximum usage rates outlined in the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) guidelines. If the selected fragrance oil/essential oil has a lower maximum usage rate than the chosen scent strength, we will notify you. You'll then have the option to proceed using the maximum allowable usage rate for that fragrance oil/essential oil or to select a different scent. If a chosen fragrance oil/essential oil is not approved for use in cold process soap, it will not be included for safety reasons. You will have the option to pick a different scent.

All selections are subject to availability. If an ingredient becomes unavailable, we will contact you to discuss alternatives.

​

Hooked on Soap LLC may offer suggestions during the creation process. You are not required to accept these suggestions.

 

B. Production & Processing Time

 

Please note that additional time may be required to obtain all selected ingredients. We will make reasonable efforts to complete your order promptly; however, receiving ingredients may take up to one to two weeks. Should fulfillment of your ingredients be expected to exceed two weeks, you will be notified accordingly.

 

Custom soaps are handcrafted and require a curing period. Typical cure time is 4–6 weeks, depending on design and formulation.

 

Processing times may vary. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.

 

C. Non-Refundable Purchases

 

Due to the personalized nature of custom soap, all Build-A-Soap orders are a final sale.

 

No cancellations, changes, returns, or refunds will be granted once production has begun.

If you are unsatisfied with the final product due to your selected ingredients, Hooked on Soap LLC is not responsible and no refunds will be issued.

 

D. Safety & Ingredient Responsibility

 

All soaps are for external use only.

 

Customers are responsible for reviewing all ingredient selections and ensuring no allergies or sensitivities.

 

Hooked on Soap LLC is not liable for adverse reactions or misuse of the product.

 

E. Ownership & Intellectual Property

 

By creating a customized soap through this service, you acknowledge that the resulting formula, design, ingredient combination, and finished product are the sole property of Hooked on Soap LLC.

 

This means:

 

You do not retain ownership of the recipe or formulation.

 

Hooked on Soap LLC may reproduce, modify, market, and sell the soap or any derivative formula at any time.

 

You grant Hooked on Soap LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use the custom formula for any commercial purpose.

 

F. Marketing & Display Rights

 

Hooked on Soap LLC may photograph, video record, and publicly display any custom soap for marketing, social media, website listings, or promotional materials.

 

Personal customer information will not be shared without consent.

 

G. Prohibited Use & Resale Restrictions

 

Custom soaps created through this service are for personal use, gift-giving, or non-commercial purposes only, unless a separate wholesale or licensing agreement is arranged.

 

Customers may not:

 

Resell the custom soap or any reproduced batches.

 

Represent the formula or design as their own.

 

Use the custom soap or formula for illegal, harmful, deceptive, or misleading purposes.

 

Violation of this section may result in legal action and termination of purchasing privileges.

 

H. Agreement to Terms

 

By placing a custom soap order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

 

5.  Orders and Payments

 

We accept payments via PayPal and standard credit/debit card processing. By submitting payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that all payment information provided is accurate.

 

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Hooked on Soap LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason at our sole discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.

We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after payment has been submitted, we will issue you a refund.

 

6.  Shipping and Delivery

 

All orders are shipped from the United States. Products are shipped within 1-3 business days following order placement using standard ground shipping to U.S. addresses only.

 

Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the shipping destination and carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, incorrect addresses, or other factors beyond our control.

As part of our order processing procedures, we may screen received orders for fraud or other types of unauthorized or illegal activity. We reserve the right to refuse to process an order due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity. If such is the case, we may reject your order or our Customer Service department may call you at the phone number you provided to confirm your order. We also reserve the right to cancel any accounts or refuse to ship to certain addresses due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity. We take these measures to protect our customers as well as ourselves from fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.

 

7. Returns and Refunds

 

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds for any products purchased through our website. Please review all product descriptions carefully before placing your order.

 

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to resolve the issue.

 

8. Intellectual Property

 

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, and designs, is the property of Hooked on Soap LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

 

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOOKED ON SOAP LLC WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY: (A) ERRORS, MISTAKES, OR INNACCURACIES OF CONTENT; (B) DAMAGE RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE WEBSITE; (C) ANY INTERRUPTION OF TRANSMISSION TO OR FROM THE WEBSITE OR ANY MOBILE APPLICATIONS; (D) ANY MALWARE, VIRUSES, TROJANS, AND THE LIKE WHICH MAY BE TRANSMITTED ON OR THROUGH THE WEBSITE OR MOBILE APPLICATIONS BY A THIRD PARTY; OR (E) ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATING TO, HOOKED ON SOAP LLC'S  PRODUCTS OR ANY OTHER PERFORMANCE UNDER, OR PURSUANT TO, THESE TERMS OF USE (INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR NEGLIGENCE) EXCEPT FOR THE GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OF HOOKED ON SOAP LLC. 

 

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL HOOKED ON SOAP LLC'S LIABILITY OF ANY KIND (A) INCLUDE ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES OR DAMAGES, EVEN IF HOOKED ON SOAP LLC HAD BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH POTENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE, OR (B) EXCEED THE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE THAT IS THE BASIS FOR THE CLAIM. 

 

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

 

All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

 

11. Governing Law

 

In the event that there is a dispute, claim, or controversy between you and Hooked on Soap LLC or any other third-party service provider acting on our behalf to provide products and services to you, arising out of or relating to federal or state statutory claims, common law claims, these Terms of Use, or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, such dispute, claim, or controversy will be, to the fullest extent permitted by law, determined by arbitration in the state of Louisiana.
